Reporting Absences

Please report absences by calling the school office before 9:00 a.m. You may also report absences before school opens by calling the school office and leaving a message following the prompt. Thank you!

Visitor Sign-In/Out

As part of our safety program we require that all visitors to our building sign in and out in the front office. We will provide visitors with a visitor’s badge to wear while in the building. Thank you for helping us ensure the safety of our students.

Bus Conduct and Safety Rules

Thank you for discussing bus conduct and safety rules with your children who ride the bus to or from school. It is important for them to understand that by obeying the rules, they will receive the privilege of riding the bus. If they disobey the rules, we will hold them accountable for their actions, and we may deny riding privileges. Please keep emphasizing that the rules are for their safety and the safety of the other passengers. Thank you!

Chess Club

The chess club meets on Wednesday mornings at 7:30 a.m. in the Northside library. We encourage any interested students to join us!

A Friendly Reminder

Please remember that flip-flops are not allowed at school. If you have any questions about the dress code, please see our FAQ page. The first question on the page refers to the dress code. Thank you for your cooperation!

Homework Requests

If you would like to pick up homework for your child, please request it when you call to report their absence. You should report absences to the school office by 9:00 a.m. Homework will be available for pickup after school. The school office is open until 4:00 p.m. Thank you!

Indiana State Law requires schools to have immunization records and birth certificates for all students on file. If we do not have your child’s birth certificate and most current immunization record, please send it to school. According to the law, we must exclude students from school if we do not have this required information. Please contact the nurse or school office at 348.7595 if you have any questions.
